Antenuptual Contracts

If you get married without having entered into an antenuptual agreement, you will by law automatically be married in community of property. This means that your assets and that of your spouse will “merge” into one undivided estate.
 

Upon divorce or death of a spouse, the general rule is that everything will have to be divided “50/50”. Furthermore, creditors will generally be able to claim debts from either you, your spouse, or both, regardless of who incurred the debt.

Wills & Deceased Estates

It has often been said that a will is like a parachute: By the time you realise you needed one, it’s already too late.
 

If your will is not in place, and steps are not taken to ensure that, after you pass away, your affairs are properly wound-up, your estate and loved ones will suffer.

I attend to a wide variety of civil litigation, and am experienced in motion and trial court.

I assist with divorces, contractual claims, delictual claims, motor vehicle collisions and other civil matters.
